Presidential Order 9645 on September 24, 2017: Vetting Capabilities and Processes for Detecting Attempted Entry into the United States by Terrorists or other Public Safety Threats (82FR 45161, 09/27/17). This Order:

• Imposed travel ban on Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen.
• Removed Iraq from the list of countries but still subject to enhanced screening.
• Removed Sudan from the list of countries but still subject to enhanced screening.
• F (student), M (vocational student) and J (exchange visitor) visas are not subject to ban in Iran but still must go through enhanced screening.
